This class is conducted totally online in the Educator learning management system--the same system learners will be using to take online or web-enhanced courses.
Because some institutions and instructors may not use all of the items that appear in the typical Educator navigation column, you may need to change some of the link labels and terminology to customize it for your use. Directions for how to find particular course objects vary from institution as well. For that reason, these specifics are not covered. However, since the course will belong to your institution, any content may be added.
The main activities that are normally encountered in an online course setting: joining discussion groups, submitting assignments, and taking quizzes and exams, are covered in full. In addition, we'll go over the basics of the Educator email system, discussion board and getting help.
